Job Responsibilities

Responsible for sales and business development of residential energy storage systems and solar + storage solutions in the UK market, achieving regional sales targets and driving business growth;

  • Develop and maintain key local channel partners in the UK, including:
    • Solar installers
    • Distributors
    • EPC companies
    • Energy solution providers
    • Renewable energy retailers and residential energy service companies
  • Conduct market research and analysis, including:
    • UK residential solar and energy storage market trends
    • Competitor activities and market positioning
    • Customer needs and purchasing behavior
    • Local renewable energy policies, incentives, and regulations
  • Support the company in developing localized market strategies and sales plans;
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including:
    • Lead generation and customer acquisition
    • Business development and relationship building
    • Customer requirement analysis
    • Solution presentation and commercial negotiations
    • Project follow-up and coordination
    • Contract signing and payment collection
  • Work closely with technical, product, and after-sales teams to provide pre-sales support, optimize customer solutions, and ensure successful project implementation;
  • Represent the company at UK renewable energy exhibitions, industry conferences, and customer events to enhance brand awareness and expand market presence;
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and partners, continuously identify new business opportunities, and increase market penetration;
  • Support headquarters in establishing UK sales channels, local business operations, and long-term market expansion strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, International Trade, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or related fields;
  • 3+ years of sales/business development experience in renewable energy, solar PV, energy storage, batteries, inverters, or related industries;
  • Proven experience in the UK renewable energy market, with residential solar PV or energy storage experience highly preferred;
  • Existing network and strong relationships with UK solar installers, distributors, EPC companies, energy solution providers, or related industry partners is a strong advantage;
  • Good understanding of the UK renewable energy market, including residential solar, battery storage trends, market regulations, and incentive schemes;
  • Strong business development, negotiation, account management, and project coordination skills;
  • Fluent English is required; additional European language skills are a plus;
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial overseas team environment with strong ownership, initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving ability;
  • Excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, logical thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration capabilities.
