About The Role

At the heart of what we do is a simple but powerful purpose: using the power of communication to make a better world - for our customers, our communities, and each other.

As a Secure Network Implementation Engineer, you’re not just configuring networks - you’re enabling businesses to thrive, innovate, and stay secure in an ever-connected world. Every solution you deliver helps organizations operate with confidence and efficiency, knowing their network is built right the first time.

Your expertise ensures we exceed expectations, deliver on promises, and create real impact. This is your chance to shape the future of secure connectivity and make a difference where it truly matters.

While this is primarily a daytime role, it may require some element of shift-pattern working in line with customer and business requirements such as late shifts and Saturdays.

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll use your expertise in network configuration to deliver secure, Right First Time solutions that meet customer needs. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on complex network configurations and creating bespoke solutions alongside standard templates.
  • Translating customer requirements into accurate configurations, diagrams, and clear documentation for deployment.
  • Producing site-specific documentation to enable effective on-site implementation.
  • Providing remote support during deployment, troubleshooting issues, and applying configuration changes.
  • Taking full ownership of orders within your area, progressing them in line with agreed processes.
  • Attending customer and project meetings to ensure an exceptional experience.
  • Coaching and supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and driving best practices.
  • Working collaboratively with customers, their representatives, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Promoting efficient ways of working and cost reduction while maintaining standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
