An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Spare Parts & Customer Service Manager to join a leading supplier of specialist filling, capping and packaging machinery.
Working within a small, friendly and collaborative team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth management of spare parts, customer service, service contracts and engineering schedules, while delivering exceptional support to both customers and suppliers.
This is a varied position that would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and customer-focused, with experience within machinery, engineering, automotive, packaging or manufacturing environments.

The Role
As Spare Parts & Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete spare parts process, coordinating service activities, supporting customers and suppliers, and ensuring all administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing spare parts enquiries and liaising with suppliers
- Processing spare parts orders from enquiry through to delivery
- Creating and maintaining job files using Sage
- Updating and maintaining records within Salesforce CRM
- Raising customer invoices and supplier purchase orders
- Monitoring deposit invoices and outstanding payments
- Tracking order progress and providing regular updates to Directors
- Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Supporting sales, service and engineering teams with customer requests
- Liaising with finance regarding account-related matters
- Managing service contracts, renewals and customer agreements
- Scheduling service visits and coordinating engineer diaries
- Booking preventative maintenance and service appointments
- Preparing quotations and invoices for service work
- Arranging transport and handling customs clearance requirements
- Following up customer and supplier enquiries to ensure excellent service levels
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems and administrative processes
- Providing general office support and assisting Directors as required

About You
We're looking for a motivated and organised individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in spare parts administration, customer service or service coordination
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
- Experience using CRM and business systems
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
- Ability to follow up enquiries and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
Desirable
- Experience within packaging machinery, manufacturing, engineering or automotive sectors
- Experience using Sage and Salesforce
- Knowledge of service scheduling and engineer coordination
- Understanding of logistics, transport and customs processes
