Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to assess client requirements, gather technical information, record site conditions, dimensions, and access, and installation constraints.
- Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities during site inspections.
- Produce site survey reports, drawings, photographs, sketches, and recommendations.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project needs and provide technical guidance.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, layouts, and solution designs using CAD or other engineering design software.
- Update drawings and technical documentation to reflect design changes and client feedback.
- Work closely with the Operations team to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and delivered in accordance with project requirements.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team during customer meetings as required.
- Assist in preparing quotations by providing technical input, equipment selection, and solution recommendations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source appropriate products and technical information.
- Support project delivery through technical problem-solving, design revisions, and on-site engineering assistance where required.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and company quality procedures.
- Plan and coordinate project logistics, including material deliveries, equipment, transport, and site access requirements.
- Coordinate installation schedules with operations, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ensure all project documentation, permit, and site information are available before installation commences.
- Assist in the Depot regarding Production/Manufacturing issues/improvements/technical information/drawings etc.

Skills & Experience
- Qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture, Mech or Elec Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in a client-facing engineering, project engineering, or solutions engineering role.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
- Strong technical drawing and engineering design skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Full driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
