About the Role
As part of Veja's continued growth in the UK and Ireland, we are looking for a UK Wholesale Sales Representative to support and grow a defined part of our wholesale business. Working closely with the wider wholesale team, this role combines account management with an active, in market sales function, building relationships with independent specialty stores and supporting key Tier 0/Top Tier accounts across the UK and Ireland. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for fashion and sneaker culture to grow within a fast moving, expanding brand, developing account relationships, executing market activations, and helping drive Veja's distribution strategy on the ground.
Responsibilities & Assignments
Account Management & Distribution
- Own and grow a defined part of the UK wholesale business, combining account management with an active sales rep function.
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with independent specialty stores across the UK and Ireland.
- Manage and deepen relationships with key Tier 0 / top-tier accounts (e.g. END, LN-CC, KITH London, Goodhood), while also covering the broader landscape of independent retailers across the region.
- Develop and execute a strategy to grow UK and Ireland distribution in line with brand positioning.
- Grow and deepen relationships with existing accounts over time, not just new accounts.
- Proactively identify and approach high-potential independent wholesale accounts in line with the brand's target account criteria and support the case for new partnerships.
- Grow distribution in line with brand positioning and selective distribution guidelines, flagging opportunities and risks.

Product & Account Development
- Apply segmentation thinking to determine the right product assortment and placement per account type.
- Manage both men's and women's product lines with equal weight (women's currently represents 70% of the business).
- Host product knowledge meetings/trainings for accounts ahead of every new collection launch.
- Track and report on sell-through data by account to support assortment and reorder decisions.
- Act as the brand's eyes and ears in the UK, surfacing insights on Tier 0/1 retailers, competitors, trends, consumer behaviour, and new opportunities.
Travel
- Travel regularly across the UK and Ireland to visit accounts, find new store partners, and represent the brand in market.
Market Development
- Bring ideas for energizing the UK market through local collaborations, events, activations, and partnerships. Help build brand heat beyond the sell-in relationship.
- Help execute market initiatives that build brand energy in the UK.
Profile
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Familiarity with selective distribution and premium positioning.
- Strong knowledge of the UK footwear, fashion, or lifestyle market.
- Strong understanding of fashion, sneaker culture, and what makes a top-tier account distinct from the broader independent landscape.
- Solid grasp of the UK retail landscape and how independent stores fit into the broader distribution strategy.
- Strong existing UK retail network with established relationships with buyers, store owners, and decision-makers across independent fashion, footwear, sneaker, and lifestyle retail.
- Retail experience is a plus.

Commercial Skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the bandwidth to manage a high volume of accounts and relationships simultaneously, balancing depth with Tier 0 partners against breadth across the wider independent network.
- Commercially driven, with a strong sales instinct and a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and close, adapting the approach by buyer, creating urgency, and staying accountable to sales targets.
Soft Skills
- Excellent relationship builder and communicator, naturally charismatic, credible, and personable, able to build genuine long-term relationships and represent the brand with energy and authenticity.
- Flexible and resilient in a fast-moving, growing environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently in the UK and Europe.
- Creative personality with a genuine interest in fashion, someone who naturally brings ideas to the table, not just executes on a brief.
