The Role

This role focuses on managing and optimizing UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) solutions across retail operations, with a strong emphasis on advanced scheduling, forecasting, and workforce budgeting.

The individual will support business-critical workforce processes by ensuring accurate system configuration, enabling data-driven decision-making, and improving labor cost efficiency. The role involves working closely with store operations, HR, payroll, and IT teams to enhance workforce productivity, ensure compliance, and deliver continuous system improvements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain UKG Pro WFM modules including Scheduling, Absence, and Forecasting
  • Manage advanced scheduling and workforce forecasting to enable efficient labor planning and budgeting
  • Ensure accurate employee data management across all locations (hire-to-retire lifecycle)
  • Support timekeeping, scheduling, and labor tracking for multi-location retail operations
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, compliance policies, and shift regulations
  • Develop and deliver operational and payroll reports using UKG Pro WFM reporting tools
  • Provide insights into labor costs, staffing levels, and workforce trends to support decision-making
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with UKG support teams for resolution
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workforce efficiency and system usage
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support to managers, HR teams, and business users

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Strong experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM)
  • Expertise in:
    • Advanced Scheduling & Forecasting modules
    • Budgeting & labor planning
    • TeleStaff module
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Manager (as alternative)
  • Strong understanding of retail workforce operations
  • Knowledge of timekeeping, scheduling, and labor compliance
  • Strong reporting and analytics capabilities within UKG Pro
  • Ability to manage high-volume workforce data with accuracy
  • Experience working in multi-location / shift-based environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Experience in retail or large-scale workforce environments
  • Exposure to labor cost optimization and workforce analytics
  • Familiarity with UK labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting system integrations and upgrades
  • Strong documentation and process standardization skills
