Prestigious Global Talent Fund Opportunity
The University of Strathclyde is proud to be one of only 12 UK universities awarded funding from the prestigious UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Global Talent Fund (GTF). This £4.35 million investment recognises Strathclyde’s global leadership in research, innovation, and impact.
We seek to appoint a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Advanced Pharmaceutical Development to join the academic team in CMAC and develop and lead new scientific research programmes aligned to the Centre’s strategic programme to transform the ways that medicines are designed and made through digital CMC and Quality by Digital Design (QbDD). We welcome applications from candidates at early career stages and appointments will be made at either a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer level appropriate to a successful candidate’s experience and career stage.

Please note: This post is supported by the UKRI Global Talent Fund. In line with the funding requirements, it is only open to international researchers who have not resided in the UK during the 24 months prior to the grant start date (July 2025) and are not currently employed by UK-based organisations or their overseas campuses. All researchers supported by the Global Talent Fund must relocate to the United Kingdom or the Common Travel Area. The majority of their time dedicated to the funded research must be spent physically based in the UK.
