Ultrasound Account Manager, Southwest England & South / Mid Wales
Reporting to Sales & Marketing Manager, Medical Imaging Systems - UK
An expert in selling Ultrasound Capital Equipment, you will be well versed in relationship management with high profile KOL’s, showcasing your skills in exceeding sales targets.
With a background of sales focusing on ultrasound, you will be responsible for the Mindray ultrasound portfolio in the Southwest England and South / Mid Wales region, ideally you are based Cardiff / Bristol / Exeter and are comfortable with regional travel as required.
Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager – Medical Imaging Systems, you will be instrumental in developing and managing numerous business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships across our General Imaging, Vascular, Obstetric and point-of-care Ultrasound portfolio.
Your Capital Equipment / Medical Device sales experience coupled with your ability to influence at all levels within the Hospital network will be key to your success in the role. You will be ‘hunter’ in style, looking to join a business that offers quality innovative solutions, at pace, to the customer. Your responsibilities:
- Differentiate Mindray’s product offerings by conveying compelling value propositions, leading opportunities, developing, and presenting solutions proposals and quotations, closing complex Ultrasound sales opportunities, and responding to customers' clinical / technical questions
- Achieving solid account penetration, manage and growing new and existing accounts in the Ultrasound market with all levels of stakeholder
- Create business and territory plan for assigned accounts including, but not limited to, opportunity development, competitive strategies and installed base targets
- Maintaining up to date CRM and sales tools and providing regular updates to National Sales & Marketing Manager and key stakeholders
- Developing and managing key customer relationships
- Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company
- Showcase company presentations, product sales demonstrations and support clinical trials
- Clinical, technical, and commercial networking
- Manage territory demo stock requirements

What are we looking for in you?
- Critically you will demonstrate success in overachieving in selling ultrasound medical devices to NHS hospitals or demonstrating a strong background in ultrasound and looking to develop your career
- A track record that shows sales growth and successful business development
- Have comprehensive network of KOL's in this region
- Ability to find and develop opportunities with potential new customers
- Demonstrate success in winning large sales opportunities
- Initiative, know how to find opportunities for business
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
- Excellent negotiation & closing skills
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work well within a team
- Ability to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship
