Ultrasound Clinical Applications Specialist

Circa £56,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on skills & experience.
Company car, plus bonus scheme and further benefits.
Permanent and full-time position.
Field-based role, covering South Wales. We are looking for the successful individual to be based around Cardiff and Swansea.

Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Applications Specialist in Ultrasound and play a key role in delivering expert support, training, and clinical guidance across our ultrasound portfolio.

About the role:

As one of our Clinical Applications Specialists, you will be responsible for providing clinical applications support to new and existing Canon Medical Systems customers. Your clinical ultrasound knowledge will be integral to this role, as you will provide comprehensive training to clinical users and promote our range of Ultrasound equipment in demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with your area’s Sales Specialist to achieve agreed sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also represent the company at exhibitions, study days, and lectures in the UK and overseas when necessary.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Radiographer (degree or DCR), with a Postgraduate, or equivalent, qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
  • Significant clinical ultrasound experience.
  • Must hold HCPC registration or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), with demonstrable presentation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different working circumstances.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Pro-active approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of building strong working relationships.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required.
  • Full UK Driving License and comfortable travelling across the region.
  • Full and valid right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
