Unaccredited Registrar - Radiation Oncology

- 3 Fixed-Term Full-Time positions (12 months)
- Salary Classification: Registrar Year 1-4

About the role
We are looking to recruit an Unaccredited Registrar to join our Radiation Oncology Team.
Calvary Mater Newcastle’s Department of Radiation Oncology is NSW’s largest regional specialist radiation therapy centre, providing comprehensive cancer care to our patients.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide medical support for radiotherapy patients
- Liaise with treatment and planning areas to ensure appropriate, expeditious inpatient and outpatient booking and treatment
- Participate in clinical duties as arranged by the Director of Radiation Oncology

About you
- Relevant primary undergraduate degree and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- At least 2 years postgraduate Australian hospital experience
- Commitment to entering the RANZCR (Radiation Oncology) training program
- Able to make sound clinical decisions in accordance with level of experience and awareness of limitations
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team
