Role Description

The Under Graduate/Graduate Email Marketing Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Loughborough. In this role, the specialist will assist in planning and executing email campaigns, including building mailing lists, segmenting audiences, and scheduling regular newsletters and promotional emails. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing email content, creating simple visuals or layouts, tracking campaign performance metrics, and supporting A/B testing to optimize open and click-through rates. The specialist will collaborate with the wider team to align email content with product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand guidelines, and help maintain accurate customer data within email marketing tools.

  • Foundational email marketing skills, including campaign setup, audience segmentation, and basic analytics.
  • Strong written communication skills for concise, clear, and engaging email copy.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, such as customer journeys and conversion funnels.
  • Comfort with using marketing or CRM tools and spreadsheets to manage customer data.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and formatting email content.
  • Ability to work on-site in Loughborough and collaborate effectively with a small team.
  • Currently studying toward or recently completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in sports, apparel, or ecommerce is beneficial, as is any experience with design tools (e.g., Canva) or online retail platforms.
