Company Overview

Caprae Capital Partners is a private equity and acquisitions platform led by Kevin Hong, a serial founder who took two tech ventures to $31M ARR and $7M in revenue. Caprae is now among the fastest-growing platforms in the lower-middle-market M&A and ETA space, pairing a global research engine with a full-stack deal sourcing arm and a fast-growing tech layer.

Since launching in January 2025, Caprae’s services divisions have closed $50M in transaction value to date, with projections to pass $150M across Q1 and Q2 of 2026. We’re looking for people ready to take PE to the next level.

Internship Overview

The Caprae Buyside Internship is an intensive training ground for future dealmakers. Rather than passive research or slow-moving financial modelling, interns learn M&A the way practitioners do: through live conversations, real negotiation psychology, and early exposure to deal structuring.

Your foundation is outbound calling, where you’ll learn to speak with founders, read their motivations, handle objections, and pull out deal-relevant information. From as early as week 4, you can move into supporting live deals and learning valuation logic, structuring mechanics, and the sequence of an ETA transaction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
