Undergraduate Placement Student (1-year fixed-term)
Location: DHL Air (UK), East Midlands Airport
Salary: Competitive

We are looking to appoint an Undergraduate Placement Student to work within the airline's Ground Operations department, providing analytical expertise to the business, performing data driven tasks and leading project tasks for continuous improvement. They will also support the department with their operational and project responsibilities.
The Role
- Produce and maintain accurate airline statistics for periodic reports, for various stakeholders
- Monitor and measure Avi-controllable delays and on-time performance
- Engage in projects and initiatives led by the responsible manager to help drive digital transformations and continuous improvement within the airline
- Support airline communications by assisting in producing and coordinating communications materials. Support event management with content creation.
- Support Ground Operations Supervisors and the responsible manager with supporting tasks when required.

The Person
- Must be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's program and be looking to start their placement in year 2027
- Will have advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Bi and Power Apps
- Has expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop to provide creative solutions
- Will preferably have practical knowledge of video editing and camera operating skills
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Is able to work within a team with a wide range of responsibilities across various disciplines
- Will preferably have a sound practical knowledge of additional data analysis tools
- Has a willingness to learn and provide feedback for continuous improvement
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must hold a valid right to work in the UK and be able to provide evidence of this during the recruitment process.
