Overall Purpose of The Job
- Ensure all SALMO Tasks are delivered in full compliance with contractual requirements, KPIs, the SeaTec Quality Management System, Group policies, and applicable marine industry standards.
- Provide leadership and accountability for the financial performance, service delivery, quality assurance, and health & safety of projects, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Manage and develop the support team, providing clear direction, performance oversight, and guidance to ensure effective service delivery.
- Coordinate with wider operations to prevent clash of resources.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks
- Accountable for the successful delivery of the SALMO Underwater Engineering Services (UES) contract, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all Tasks Authorisation Forms (TAFs) issued under the SALMO UES contract.
- Lead the monitoring of technical and financial performance, ensuring alignment with contractual KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
- Manage cost control and commercial performance, maximising gross margin across all UES contract activities.
- Oversee the delivery of Social Value commitments, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and organisational objectives.
- Manage CONDO compliance.
- Chair regular contract review meetings with the UES client, ensuring effective communication, governance, and accurate documentation of actions and minutes.
- Manage financial governance across the wider SeaTec Underwater UK business, including ownership of monthly profit and loss reporting and coordination with the Finance team, including personnel overtime tracking.
- Facilitate onboarding and performance management of suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual expectations.
- Drive and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Provide line management and leadership to Operations Coordinators and Operations Administrators, supporting their performance, development, and engagement.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and the Operations Team.

Essential
- Knowledge of underwater engineering services.
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification commensurate with the position.
- Computer literate with knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Professional (including MS Project), also knowledge of bespoke design software i.e. AutoCAD, Mathcad, FEA.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance up to UK Secret.
- In-depth knowledge of financial business administration and earned value management.
- 10+ years engineering industry experience within a commercial/ financial management position.
Desirable
- Experience in afloat ship repair on inshore/offshore diving projects.
