Credit Underwriter - Business Loans
Our client is an established lender who have service thousands of customers across the UK. They offer flexible secured loan Facilities to UK businesses and are very well capitalised with huge appetite to lend and grow. Due to their continued success and further recent investment, we are now looking to expand the team further, in particular we are looking for a Credit Manager who is established, with a proven track record on Underwriting business loans. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved early doors, to be able to help shape processes, drive growth and influence the business as it scales up.

We are working with an established group who provide a range of products and services committed to supporting UK individuals start up, scale and sustain their businesses in order to drive business confidence in the country. This role sits within their Business Loans division who pride themselves on providing flexible, fair and responsible lending and are able to offer small businesses the tools they need to grow. They are now looking to appoint a Credit Underwriter to join the existing team based in Altrincham.
As a Credit Underwriter, you will be responsible for influencing both automated and human decision processes, assessing ongoing credit risk, and be an essential part of their risk function. You will be integral to help define the strategy as the business continues to expand.

Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience within Business Loans - ideally within a Credit Underwriting or Risk function
- Strong SME lending knowledge
- Tech orientated individual
- Adaptable and responsible
- Team player
