About the Role:
As an Underwriting Assistant, you’ll work closely with our experienced team to assess risk, develop bespoke insurance products, and support clients with smart, data-driven solutions. You’ll be part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities:
- Learn how to assess and underwrite commercial risks across various sectors
- Review insurance applications and evaluate documentation and data
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Support pricing strategy and contribute to portfolio management
- Gain exposure to underwriting systems, technology platforms, and industry insights
- Build and eventually manage your own portfolio of business across the UK and Europe

What We’re Looking For:
- French-native language proficiency
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above from a Top 20 UK university
- Excellent mental maths and the confidence to take decisions
- Analytical mindset with strong communication skills
- Interest in risk, insurance, data and financial services
- A proactive, self-starting attitude and eagerness to learn
We are open to sponsoring visas where needed for the right candidate, but please make this clear to us during the interview process
