Job title: Underwriting Assistant

Location: 2Vision - Chelmsford

About Acrisure:

Acrisure is a global Fintech leader that combines the best of humans and high tech to offer multiple financial products and services to millions of businesses and individual clients. We connect clients to solutions that help them protect and grow what matters, including Insurance, Reinsurance, Cyber Services, Mortgage Origination and more.

Acrisure employs over 17,000 entrepreneurial colleagues in 21 countries and have grown from $38 million to $4.3 billion in revenue in just over ten years. Our culture is defined by our entrepreneurial spirit and all that comes with it: innovation, client centricity and an indomitable will to win.

About the Role:

Following a highly successful first year of trading, 2Vision is entering an exciting new phase of growth as it begins renewing its existing portfolio. To support this evolution, 2Vision is seeking an ambitious, adaptable and highly motivated individual to join our team and play a key role in our continued growth and success.

This position has been created, amongst other things, to oversee and support the growing volume of renewal activity, enabling our New Business Underwriters to remain focused on expanding the portfolio, developing broker relationships and driving the business forward.

About the Opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity to join a young, dynamic and fast-growing underwriting business at a pivotal stage of its development. Unlike many traditional insurance roles, this position offers exposure far beyond routine administration, providing the successful candidate with direct access to the leadership, strategy and operational mechanics of a growing underwriting business.

You will work alongside a compact team of experienced insurance professionals who collectively possess decades of expertise within the Regional SME insurance market. The small-team environment ensures significant visibility, responsibility and access to mentorship, creating an exceptional platform for personal and professional development.

While the role will initially focus on underwriting support, renewals, management and administration, there is significant scope for progression. As both 2Vision and Acrisure continue to grow, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop rapidly into a broader underwriting role, taking on increased responsibility and becoming an integral part of the future growth of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
