Underwriting Operations Manager - Lloyd's Insurer
12-18 months FTC - £80-90k
I'm looking to speak with an experienced Underwriting Operations Manager to join a Lloyd’s Insurer. This is an opportunity for someone with strong Lloyd’s and London Market experience to take ownership of key operational processes across the underwriting lifecycle, working closely with senior stakeholders and managing offshore third-party relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee policy administration, policy data entry, and data quality processes.
- Manage and support the policy administration system.
- Oversee offshore data entry teams and third-party relationships.
- Manage underwriting controls, quality assurance, and data integrity.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, including Heads of Underwriting, the CUO, and CFO.
- Ensure underwriting operations meet Lloyd’s and London Market regulatory and operational requirements.

- At least 5 years' experience within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market underwriting operations and policy processing.
- Experience managing policy administration systems and offshore data entry teams.
- A solid understanding of underwriting controls, data quality, and quality assurance.
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and external service providers.
- CII qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
