Uniform Room Attendant – Pre-Opening Team (Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch)

Welcome to one of the most iconic and highly anticipated luxury hospitality openings of the year. Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch, situated adjacent to Buckingham Palace on The Mall, is seeking a driven Uniform Room Attendant to join its founding team as part of the pre-opening preparations.

The hotel will redefine British metropolis hospitality with:

  • 100 exquisite rooms and suites spanning 10 floors
  • 17,500 sqft of Private Residences, tailored for discerning guests
  • Exclusive dining: Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs
  • A world-class LAGUNA Spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests

As Hilton’s flagship luxury brand, Waldorf Astoria sets the standard for timeless refinement and bespoke guest experiences.

About the Role

You’ll become part of the founding team that shapes the fonctionnement and identité of this landmark hotel. Working closely with Housekeeping and Safety teams, you’ll oversee:

  • Exquisite property maintenance and uniformed services for impeccable guest first impressions
  • Guest enquiries and operational coordination between Departments
  • Uniform and equipment accountability to ensure adherence to brand standards
  • Training and support for pre-opening team members in maintaining Waldorf Astoria’s legendary service

Responsibilities

Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Uniform and equipment management: Organising, maintaining and distributing uniforms
  • Guest service excellence: Supporting guests, addressing enquiries and handling guest requests with Waldorf Astoria’s world-class service
  • Property protection: Monitoring adherence to housekeeping standards and reporting maintenance issues
  • Training and coordination: Assisting front-of-house teams to prepare for the hotel opening
  • Operational efficiency: Coordinating with Housekeeping, Reception and Front Office
  • Maintaining high-level documentation and reporting

About You (Key Requirements)

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality (especially in Room Attendant or Uniform roles)
  • Strong customer service skills with an unwavering commitment to guest needs
  • Ability to operate with calm and professionalism while dealing with the complexities of a high-profile opening
  • A flexible approach: Pre-opening requires long hours and willingness to work in-house
  • Neat appearance and work-ready attitude – the foundation of the Waldorf Astoria brand

While no formal qualifications are mandatory, a proven track record in luxury or high-end properties is essential.
