Are you a qualified, curious and entrepreneurial GI actuary looking for your next 'Head Of' role? Do you have Lloyd’s / London market knowledge? Excited by the prospect of taking end-to-end ownership of a new pricing function?

Then Star Actuarial is currently representing the perfect role for you, making a significant contribution to a business that has rapidly grown its underwriting teams (and which has many more on the horizon).

Joining an ever-expanding and successful London Market underwriting business, you will:

  • Own and lead the delivery of pricing capability against the backdrop of the key Lloyd’s Oversight Principle Underwriting Performance;
  • Develop and maintain pricing models, frameworks, policies and bespoke case analyses for large/unusual risks for underwriting teams;
  • Be challenged and stimulated by these underwriting teams, playing an instrumental role in ensuring their long-term support for technical pricing concepts and pricing tools;
  • Take the lead on the ongoing development, maintenance and cyclical validation of rating tools and pricing capabilities for all classes of business, including model documentation.
