About the Role

TLC Care are looking for an experienced Unit Manager to join their senior team at their team.

TLC Care pride themselves in not only delivering the highest standards of care, but promoting the choices and individual needs of our elderly residents, making a happy environment for residents and team members alike.

Your role as Unit Manager is essential in providing leadership and motivation for the team, promoting our values of Truth, Love and Compassion in everything we do. You will be in charge of the day to day activity of your unit and be a supportive mentor to our team of Carers, ensuring they are up to date with best practice in care and documentation. Your management experience will be focused on delivering the best care as well as assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents in a caring, kind and respectful manner, whilst ensuring a warm and friendly relationship with residents and relatives alike.

Requirements

  • Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant Client group
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player
  • Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
  • Satisfactory DBS check
  • Minimum N/SVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience/Qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines
