Unit Manager - Retail and Foodservice
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Unit Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy retail and foodservice unit within One Retail, contracted to 40 hours per week.
As a Unit Manager, you will use your leadership, operational and people management skills to deliver exceptional customer service, drive performance, and ensure the smooth running of the unit. Your Key Responsibilities May Include

- Leading, motivating and developing your team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the unit, ensuring all standards are consistently met
- Monitoring financial performance, including labour costs, sales and stock control
- Ensuring all deliveries are checked, stored and managed efficiently
- Maintaining appropriate stock levels through ordering and inventory management
- Producing staff rotas to meet business needs while controlling labour costs
- Driving sales and identifying opportunities to improve performance and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring full compliance with Food Handling, Food Safety and Hygiene standards
- Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation
- Managing recruitment, training, performance and development of team members
- Completing administrative duties, reporting and financial controls accurately and on time
- Building positive relationships with customers, colleagues and stakeholders

Our Ideal Unit Manager Will
- Have previous management experience within a retail, hospitality, catering or foodservice environment
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Be commercially aware with experience of managing budgets, sales and costs
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
- Have a positive, proactive and flexible approach to work
- Possess a good understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements
