Introducing the Opportunity
As an intern at Boehringer, you won’t be alone! Joining in September 2027, you will be part of a sizeable cohort of talented students, spanning across our entire business. From day one, you will be supported by your team, your manager, and by HR. You will be doing real work, contributing to our success and building your depth of understanding in your chosen area. You will also be supported to succeed with a range of learning opportunities that go beyond your specific role development. Learning moments cover personal development such as organisation and effectiveness in the workplace, building your confidence, networking, and building effective relationships. There is also a focus on career development including company-wide ‘look and see’ tours, lunch and learns, and workshops that overview the array of roles to be found in a leading global pharmaceutical organisation. And if all of that isn’t enough… there is a competitive salary, great benefits, a collaborative office/production site experience (although most roles also offer hybrid working) and a truly passionate culture!
What You Will Do
As a Supply Chain Analyst Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience across key areas of our pharmaceutical supply chain. You’ll work with real data to help track inventory, monitor shipments, and support supply planning. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to live projects, helping teams monitor and improve processes. It’s a great opportunity to build your analytical skills, learn how supply chains operate in a regulated industry, and gain exposure to project management in a fast-paced environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with supply planning by analysing historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to support accurate planning
- Monitoring stock levels and in-transit goods using SAP and Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting
- Participating in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align supply and demand across functions such as sales, finance, and logistics
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or risks
- Process Documentation: Help document current supply chain processes and suggest improvements
- System Support: Work with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to extract data
- Analyse inbound transit data to identify optimization opportunities
- Develop tools to monitor order fulfilment and customer satisfaction metrics
- Support in building a robust set of metrics and KPI to ensure accountability and visibility across departments
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
