We are seeking an empathetic, highly organised, and reliable University Support Assistants to empower students in Aberdeen in navigating their daily academic and social campus life. In this hands-on role, you will work directly with students to build independence, manage academic workloads, reduce stress, and foster positive social connections.
Key Responsibilities
Academic and Transition Support
- Organisation and Planning: Assist students in using planners, digital calendars, and task management tools; break down large assignments and long-term projects into actionable, manageable steps.
- Classroom Assistance: Guide students to lecture theatres and classrooms, assist with settling in, and prompt effective note-taking or the use of assistive technology as needed.
- Campus Navigation: Provide timely reminders and gentle prompts to ensure smooth transitions between classes, lectures, and campus activities.
