The Opportunity
This is a high-visibility opportunity to own and elevate Appian’s early-career program while remaining a versatile contributor across the broader talent spectrum. You will not only lead full-lifecycle campus hiring and build lasting partnerships with premier universities, but during off-peak cycles, you will pivot to drive corporate recruiting initiatives, employer branding campaigns, and process optimizations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your strategy directly shapes company culture, this role offers an unmatched launchpad for your recruiting career.
This role is based at our London office. At Appian, we value in-person collaboration as a key driver of innovation and teamwork. While working on customer sites is a priority, we believe being in the office provides more opportunities to come together and celebrate working with the exceptional people across Appian.
What You’ll Do

- Build Strategic Campus & Community Partnerships: Cultivate deep relationships with university departments, career centers, student organizations, and faculty to host high-impact campus events and elevate Appian’s employer brand.
- Flex Across Talent Initiatives: Pivot seamlessly outside peak campus hiring cycles to support corporate, technical, and specialized hiring needs, as well as talent projects such as interview training programs and candidate experience enhancements.
- Partner as a Strategic Advisor: Collaborate directly with hiring managers and senior leaders across departments, utilizing data-driven insights to guide recruiting strategies for early-career and experienced roles alike.
- Pipeline & Source Creatively: Leverage modern sourcing techniques across various platforms to build diverse, robust talent pools for evolving organizational requisitions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
