Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Upholsterer role based in High Wycombe. The Upholsterer will prepare, cut, and fit fabrics and materials for a variety of furniture and seating projects, including new builds and refurbishments. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Stripping and re-covering furniture
- Measuring and cutting materials
- Sewing and finishing seams
- Fitting foams and padding
- Ensuring all pieces meet quality and safety standards

The role also involves:
- Working from drawings or specifications
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet project timelines
- Keeping the workspace organized and safe
Qualifications
- Proficiency in upholstery techniques, including stripping, padding, and re-covering furniture.
- Experience working with seating and furniture projects, with an understanding of structural support and comfort.
- Skill in tapestry or decorative upholstery work, with attention to patterns and visual detail.
- Strong sewing abilities, including hand stitching and machine sewing for durable and neat finishes.
- Previous experience in an upholstery workshop or related trade is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, measurements, and specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Reliable, able to work on-site full-time in High Wycombe, and capable of handling the physical aspects of the role.
