JADE Windows & Doors, 622 Bradford Road, Batley, WF17 8HF
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
- Friday, 6:00am to 12:00pm
Pay:
Competitive and negotiable depending on experience
Contract:

JADE Windows & Doors has manufactured and installed quality windows and doors for more than 30 years.
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator or Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Batley.
JADE is part of Woodlands Home & Garden Group, a British manufacturing business employing around 300 people across Yorkshire and Scotland. This provides greater stability, development opportunities and the support of a growing group of businesses.
About The Role
You will help manufacture aluminium and uPVC windows and doors for residential, trade and commercial customers.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling window and door components
- Manufacturing aluminium and uPVC windows and doors
- Reading production drawings, specifications and job sheets
- Fitting glass, hardware, locks, handles and other components
- Operating fabrication machinery, equipment and hand tools
- Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
- Reporting defects, material issues and equipment faults
- Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
- Working with colleagues to meet daily production requirements
- Supporting improvements within the manufacturing process

What We Are Looking For
We would like to hear from candidates with practical experience in window and door fabrication or a closely related manufacturing environment.
You Should Have
- Previous experience fabricating aluminium or uPVC windows and doors
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to read measurements, drawings or specifications
- A strong focus on quality and safety
- A reliable and responsible approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
- A willingness to learn and support other production activities
Experience working with both aluminium and uPVC would be an advantage. However, we welcome applications from people who have strong experience in either material and are willing to develop their skills.
We would also be interested in hearing from experienced window installers, joiners or manufacturing operatives whose practical skills could transfer into fabrication.
