Role Summary
Reports to: Head of Retail – Europe

We're looking for an inspiring Regional Business Manager to lead a portfolio of stores. This role is about creating environments where people thrive, customers love to shop and commercial success naturally follows.
As a people-first leader, you'll develop exceptional Store Managers and leadership teams who are empowered to make great decisions, build inclusive cultures and deliver outstanding experiences. You'll balance commercial performance with coaching, creativity and operational excellence to create the best places to work and shop.
Reporting to the Head of Retail, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our retail business, influencing strategy and driving sustainable growth across your region.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead People First
- Create an inclusive, high-performing culture where every individual feels valued, inspired and empowered.
- Coach, develop and support Store Managers to become exceptional leaders who build engaged, successful teams.
- Champion wellbeing, belonging and development, recognising that great people create great customer experiences.
- Build robust succession plans and identify future talent across the region.
- Foster collaboration across Retail, Visual, Merchandising, HR and Operations to create one connected business.
Drive Commercial Performance
- Own the commercial performance of your region, delivering sustainable growth across sales, profitability and productivity.
- Use insight, data and market knowledge to identify opportunities and respond quickly to changing customer behaviors.
- Develop regional strategies that maximize performance while protecting the Urban Outfitters brand and customer experience.
- Encourage entrepreneurial thinking within stores, empowering teams to take ownership of local opportunities.

Create Exceptional Customer Experiences
- Ensure every store delivers inspiring, creative and engaging shopping environments.
- Protect and elevate the Urban Outfitters brand experience through outstanding execution and storytelling.
- Champion customer feedback and use insights to continually improve the in-store experience.
Operational Excellence
- Lead stores to deliver operational excellence across all key metrics including payroll, stock management, compliance and asset protection.
- Simplify ways of working, enabling stores to focus on customers and their teams.
- Hold teams accountable through clear expectations, coaching and performance conversations.
Shape the Future
- Be a visible leader who inspires change and embraces innovation.
- Partner with the Head of Retail to deliver strategic priorities across the business.
- Share best practice across regions and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
We're looking for someone who is as passionate about developing people as they are about delivering results.
- Significant multi-site leadership experience within fashion or lifestyle retail.
- A proven track record of building high-performing, engaged teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering sustainable sales and profit growth.
- Exceptional coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire others to reach their potential.
- A collaborative leadership style that builds trust and strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Confidence using data and commercial insight to inform decision-making.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.
- Passion for creativity, culture and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
