Position Overview
With the Fairfield Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) located in Lancaster, Ohio. This is a full-time position with a minimum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in agriculture, engineering, soil science, forestry, natural resources, environmental science or closely related field along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in fields of construction, plan review, inspections, environmental review or other similar disciplines. Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI) certification preferred. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the District’s automobile policy is required.

Salary and Benefits
Salary starts at $50,356.80 ($24.21 per hour). Full-time benefits include enrollment in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System, Health, Vision, and Dental insurance, paid vacation, holidays, personal, and sick leave. Hours would be 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with ½ hour unpaid lunch Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
