Job Title: Urgent Care Assistant
Location: Wiltshire, Swindon and Bath and North East Somerset
Contract Type: Part-time, fixed-term
Duration: 6 months until February 2027
Shifts: Weekday evenings, weekends, and overnight sessions
About the Role:
HealthHero is seeking an Urgent Care Assistant to support the delivery of Integrated Urgent Care services across Wiltshire, Swindon, and Bath and North East Somerset. This role involves driving, receptionist, and base duties.
- Driving: Safe and legal transportation of clinicians to patients' homes. Vehicle checks and recording of medications and consumables.
- Base: First point of contact for patients and carers. Support clinicians, communicate with patients, and maintain cleanliness.
- Medication and Stock Management: Maintain stock levels using computer systems, replenish car stock, and manage stock rotation and expiry dates.
Key Requirements:
- Flexible and resilient approach
- Ability to work in both clinical and mobile environments
- Comfortable with prolonged sitting and physically demanding tasks
- Full UK Driving License with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent attention to detail, administration skills, and ability to work confidently under pressure

Additional Information:
- Role involves working between 80 and 95 hours over a four-week period
- Successful applicants will need an Enhanced DBS
