Job Opportunity: Urgent Care Practitioner (UCP)
We are seeking positive, proactive, and enthusiastic staff to join our existing teams in the ongoing development and expansion of our urgent care services across Harrogate ED and Ripon UTC.
As a UCP, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical care in the management of patients presenting with minor injuries and illnesses. Acting within your professional boundaries, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of minor stream services across both Harrogate and Ripon sites. You will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team and partner organizations to ensure seamless and timely care and the best possible patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for providing unscheduled care in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with undifferentiated minor injuries and illnesses.
- Initial assessment and onward referral of acutely unwell patients.
- Contribute to meeting the identified Key Performance Indicators within the time frames identified.
