Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role will involve working Monday to Sunday as part of a shift-based rota. The ability and willingness to work across both sites is essential.

Flexibility is an important requirement of the role. Where necessary, the post holder will be expected to provide additional cover to meet the needs of the service, including working weekends and Bank Holidays and responding to short-notice staffing requirements arising from sickness or emergency annual leave.

What You Will Bring To The Role

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills and will be able to work effectively as part of a busy multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to manage your own workload, use initiative, prioritise competing demands and work effectively to tight deadlines.

A strong commitment to providing a welcoming, efficient, professional and caring service to patients and their families is essential. You should be confident when dealing with members of the public and able to communicate effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues in potentially challenging and busy situations.

Excellent IT skills are required, together with a good working knowledge of patient administration systems. Previous experience of the Emergency Department Symphony system would be advantageous; however, full training can be provided for the successful candidate.
