The Opportunity

An established global IT and Digital Solutions organisation is looking for an early-career Full Stack Engineer to join its Automation & Analytics team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong Python and SQL skills who wants to build broader expertise across software engineering, cloud, data engineering and AI-enabled applications.

Rather than focusing on one part of the technology stack, you'll work across backend services, APIs, databases, data pipelines and cloud environments, supporting real production applications and contributing to client projects.

Why this role?

You’ll Gain Hands-on Exposure To

  • AWS cloud & migration
  • Python development
  • SQL, databases & data platforms
  • Data pipelines & ETL/ELT
  • APIs & backend engineering
  • CI/CD & production systems
  • Analytics & modern data platforms
  • AI/ML and emerging AI technologies

It's a strong opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop into a well-rounded Full Stack / Data Engineer rather than being limited to a single technology.

What You'll Be Doing

Cloud & Platform Engineering

  • Support the migration of existing data services and applications from private infrastructure to AWS.
  • Deploy, operate and optimise services across AWS and Azure environments.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production applications and data platforms.

Full Stack & Backend Development

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
  • Design and integrate APIs and server-side applications.
  • Work with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Contribute to front-end development where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
