Role Description
The US Account Manager – UK Based is a full-time, on-site role located in Cleckheaton. This role is responsible for managing and growing key US customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication, project updates, and issue resolution. Typical activities include coordinating product development projects, liaising with technical and production teams, monitoring timelines, and ensuring specifications and quality standards are met. The role involves preparing and delivering account reviews, forecasts, and performance reports, as well as identifying opportunities for new business, upselling, and cross-selling within existing accounts. The US Account Manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order processing, on-time delivery, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong account management and client relationship skills, including experience handling international or US-based customers.
- Background or strong interest in cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG, with the ability to understand technical product information and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with confidence in leading customer meetings and project discussions.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with business and productivity tools (e.g., CRM systems, spreadsheets, project management software) and data-driven reporting.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to build effective relationships with technical, commercial, and operations teams.
- Relevant experience in sales, account management, or commercial roles; experience within a cosmetic manufacturing or similar environment is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to work on-site in Cleckheaton and occasionally travel, including potential visits to US customers or partners.
