Role Objective
We are looking for a Business Development Manager or Senior IT Recruiter who can drive revenue growth through both existing client expansion and new client acquisition in the US. The role will involve managing assigned accounts, generating new hiring demand, building senior stakeholder relationships, creating new business opportunities, and working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful closures. The ideal candidate should be client-focused, commercially aware, target-driven, number-oriented, and strong in follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow assigned client accounts while also identifying new business opportunities through regular engagement, structured follow-ups, and market outreach.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, TA teams, vendor managers, procurement, delivery stakeholders, and new client contacts to generate hiring demand.
- Drive continuous vacancy flow across contract hiring by identifying new stakeholders, teams, business units, and expansion opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Conduct client connects; pitch meetings, capability discussions, and requirement discovery calls to convert conversations into active requirements and business opportunities.
- Work closely with recruitment/delivery teams to ensure clear requirement understanding, quality submissions, timely feedback, stronger conversion ratios, and successful closures.
- Track the full hiring funnel from requirement intake to submission, interview, offer, joining, billing start, renewals, and extensions.
- Support commercial discussions including rates, margins, renewals, extensions, volume hiring, and client-specific pricing expectations.
- Maintain clear visibility on pipeline, revenue, upcoming opportunities, client risks, and market trends through accurate CRM/internal updates.
- Proactively manage client escalations, delivery risks, account-level issues, and follow-through to ensure client satisfaction and revenue continuity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
