Are you a US tax specialist looking to play a key role in the growth of a market-leading Global Mobility practice?

A highly successful professional services firm is seeking an experienced US Global Mobility Tax Senior Manager to join its expanding Integrated Mobility team. Experienced Managers looking to step up into a Senior Manager role will also be considered. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious US tax professional to step into a pivotal leadership position, acting as the number two to the team lead while working with multinational organisations, internationally mobile employees, and high-net-worth individuals on complex US compliance and advisory matters.

With significant investment being made into the firm’s US/UK Global Mobility offering across both the UK and offshore delivery teams, this practice is experiencing continued growth and is not short of work. You’ll inherit an established portfolio and play an integral role in shaping the future direction of the team.

Importantly, this role offers a genuine succession planning opportunity, positioning you to step into a more senior leadership role as the current team lead progresses their career.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
