The Team
Our U.S. Funds team is a unique opportunity to obtain experience in U.S. tax with a focus on international and cross-border matters. The team provides U.S. tax compliance, fund structuring, and advisory services to European-based asset managers and investment funds across a range of sectors, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Credit. Working with sophisticated investment structures and global clients, you will develop expertise in the U.S. tax considerations arising from international investment activity while helping clients navigate complex regulatory and reporting requirements.
How You Will Contribute
As an Analyst, you will support a broad range of U.S. tax compliance and advisory engagements, working closely with experienced professionals across the business. Your role will be varied and dynamic, providing exposure to complex technical issues, diverse clients, and sophisticated fund structures. As part of a growing team, you will take on increasing responsibility, develop your technical and professional skills, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

What Will You Be Doing?
As a new Analyst in the U.S. Funds teams, you will:
- Work on various engagements under the guidance of Associates and Managers and gain exposure to a diverse client base;
- Use A&M tax technology in order to prepare clean, well-organized workpapers that include relevant book to tax adjustments and investor allocations;
- Prepare and review extensions, Schedule K-1/K-3s, federal and state tax returns, and estimates;
- PFIC analysis and PFIC reporting;
- Research and provide evidence of your findings on both international and U.S. tax matters, such as interpreting U.S. tax treaties;
- Draft tax advice for clients in a clear and concise manner;
- Correspond with tax agencies such as the IRS;
- Lead internal meetings where appropriate;
- Deliver timely and quality work products that meet or exceed the expectations set out by the engagement team Manager.

Qualifications
- A US degree in accounting, tax, or law and who is CPA qualified or bar certified or working towards one of these qualifications.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of Excel and ability to learn new tax software as well as technology processes.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic U.S. tax concepts, with particular regard to partnerships.
- Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines in order to meet deliverable timeframes.
- Strong teaming and problem-solving skills.
- High motivation to learn and grow.
- Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
