Developing our people is critical to our strategy and fostering our culture of empowerment.
A Brief Overview
The US LBM Sr. Product Manager, ERP is responsible for the innovation, development, and optimization of US LBM's ERP platform, the operational backbone spanning order entry, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and financials across our operating divisions. This position will collaborate with the digital product management leadership team, senior operations and finance leaders, engineering, and key business stakeholders to execute a digital product strategy that standardizes and modernizes our core systems to drive growth, efficiency, and operational excellence across the organization.
This is a defining role in US LBM's move to an AI-First operating model. Paired closely with the Lead Engineer, the Sr. Product Manager will co-own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping, working across the organization to find where AI and modern software can create real business value and then quickly proving those ideas out. If you want to shape how a 13,000-associate company applies AI to run and grow its business, this is that role.
What you will do
- Paired with the Lead Engineer, co-own use-case discovery and rapid prototyping, identifying and validating AI and technology opportunities across the organization and turning them into working proof-of-concepts that demonstrate business value.
- Champion an AI-First approach to product, using AI to accelerate discovery, decisions, and delivery, and prioritizing the use cases that put AI to work for the business.
- In collaboration with the Digital Product Management team, drive a technology product roadmap that helps US LBM Sell the Whole Home by making the ERP a fast, reliable, and consistent foundation, for both internal associates and the customers our atomic teams serve through these platforms.
- Use data and high-quality business judgement to develop analytical insights that drive both strategy and tactics for implementation success for the business leaders, including measures such as order accuracy, inventory turns, on-time fulfillment, and process cycle times.
- Work with partners in operations, sales, finance, engineering, business process, and data analytics teams to get digital product solutions designed, built, deployed, and optimized to deliver business impact.
- Be a great business partner, focused on collaboration to drive results.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
