Job Description

The position will provide specialized support for U.S. Navy Interior Voice Communications Systems, focusing exclusively on Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)—not warehouse or material-handling logistics. Responsibilities include analyzing and managing Shipboard Interior Voice Communications systems data and developing comprehensive Life Cycle Logistics support documentation. Duties also involve evaluating Interior Communications (IC) systems management data, creating logistics plans and procedures, and producing logistics management plans and guidelines to ensure effective sustainment throughout the system’s life cycle.

This position is well suited for individuals with prior experience as a Navy Logistics Specialist (LS) or those with a background in DLA or NAVSUP, as the role requires a strong understanding of Navy supply, provisioning processes, technical documentation, and lifecycle sustainment principles.

Responsibilities

  • Development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) certifications and Ship Change Documents (SCDs) for the U.S. Navy Surface fleet in support of the SPAWAR Announcing, Integrated Voice Network, HYDRA Wireless and Shipboard Air Traffic Control Communications Programs, in the ILS and Entitled Process (EP) applications of the Navy Data Environment (NDE).
  • Development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Checklists for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) systems to support U.S. Navy New Ships Construction.
  • Conduct vendor surveys to identify obsolescence cases.
  • Maintain and update database to track obsolescence metrics.
  • Resolve Fleet Coordinated Shipboard Allowance (COSAL) Technical Feed Back Reports (TFBRs).
  • Conduct research and analyze Navy system technical specifications, engineering drawings, and system design documents to create detailed parts list breakdowns while ensuring configuration and logistics data management.
  • Develop provisioning projects using the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and submit Provisioning Technical Documentation to maintain allowance documents (ACLs, APLs and AELs) configuration and logistics data.
  • Analyze and evaluate configuration data using Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and Model Based Product Support (MBPS) systems.
  • Perform a monthly assessment of provisioning projects submitted to verify the accuracy of configuration data.
  • Sustain a variety of action item tracking documents to ensure accountability for outstanding projects.
  • Foster positive relationships, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conduct supply and technical research to provide in-depth logistics recommendations to government officials.
  • Provide updates on the status of pending projects to the leadership team during weekly meetings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
