US Contract Recruitment Director

US Construction | Infrastructure | Civils | Data Centres

We’re looking for an experienced US Contract Recruiter who wants to build something rather than inherit something.

The opportunity is to take full ownership of launching a US contract division within one of the following markets:

  • Data Centres
  • Infrastructure
  • Civils
  • Construction

You’ll have the backing, freedom, and resources to build the division your way — including developing the client base, building your own team, and setting the direction of the business.

This is a genuine opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond running a desk and have a much bigger stake in what they build.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for building the US contract division from the ground up.

That means:

  • Developing and winning new US clients
  • Building and managing your own contractor network
  • Establishing the contract recruitment operation
  • Deciding where and how to grow the market
  • Building a team around you
  • Managing and developing consultants
  • Taking ownership of revenue and growth
  • Helping shape the wider US strategy

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
