US Tax at TAP
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated US/UK Tax Senior Manager to join our growing US tax team.
The role involves managing a large and varied portfolio of clients, overseeing the delivery of complex US and UK tax compliance work and providing strategic advisory support.
You will lead client relationships, ensuring delivery to a high standard, managing expectations and providing clear, practical advice.
You will also take responsibility for developing junior team members and contributing to the ongoing growth of the US practice.
Senior Manager Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will play a central role in leading a varied and interesting portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for both the day-to-day delivery of work and the wider client relationship.
This will include overseeing billing across your portfolio, identifying opportunities to provide additional support where appropriate, and working closely with Partners and Directors to shape and deliver advisory projects.
You will be expected to ensure that all work is completed to a consistently high standard, in line with our internal quality and risk management procedures, while also building strong relationships with intermediaries and professional advisers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
