USA Technology Talent Sourcer
Belfast City Centre
£26,500 + bonus
Standard hours: 9 am - 6 pm (flexibility)
MCS Group is growing, and we are looking for a driven Talent Sourcer to join our USA Technology team. This is a specialist 180° recruitment role focused entirely on the candidate side of the market.
You'll identify and engage talented technology professionals across the United States, build relationships with passive candidates, and connect them with exciting opportunities with innovative companies.
- You'll spend your time mapping markets, uncovering hard-to-find talent, and starting conversations with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data professionals, Cyber Security specialists, and Technology Leaders.
- You do not need recruitment or technology experience. You do need energy, curiosity, resilience, and confidence communicating with people.
- We are looking for someone who enjoys research, building relationships, and digging deeper when others have given up.
This is not passive CV searching. Great sourcers build talent pipelines, uncover hidden talent, and become trusted market experts. They understand where the best candidates are, what motivates them, and how to engage them effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
