Role Description

The Used Car Manager is a full-time, Field Based role with some requirement to attend our Head Office in Marylebone, London. This role oversees all aspects of pre-owned vehicle operations, including pricing, marketing, and selling used vehicles to our Franchised Dealer Network, in order to achieve volume and profit targets.

  • Managing sales processes
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Analysing market trends
  • Ensuring that customer satisfaction remains at the core of all activities

The Used Car Manager will also lead on the relationships and day-to-day management of our 3rd Party Refurbishment and Sales Platform partners. Collaboration with other departments, such as marketing and finance, will be essential to deliver a seamless and compliant used car customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong pre-owned vehicle sales experience, including managing used car stock and meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in developing and optimising sales processes to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Experience working with an Automotive Manufacturer beneficial but not essential.
  • Solid sales skills, including negotiation, closing, and relationship management with a diverse customer base.
  • Commercial awareness and analytical skills, including market analysis, pricing strategy, and margin management.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with attention to detail and competence in using various systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and work in a hybrid setting.
  • Previous experience in automotive retail management or a similar sector is highly beneficial.
