What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a Used Car Refurb Specialist to join our team in the UK. The Specialist
is a key contributor to the Tesla Used Car Refurb Operations by orchestrating and enabling a
smooth flow of tasks. This position is responsible for lot management, administrative tasks, and
supporting management with ensuring smooth operations.
To succeed at Tesla, you must be energetic, highly organized, and smart working. You should
have a passion for the brand and the ability to create exceptional customer experiences.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate mechanical and cosmetic inspections and repairs for used vehicles
- Perform inspections of vehicles in progress and completed inventory to ensure finished vehicles are up to quality standards
- Where required, take pictures of the vehicles ahead of listing for sales
- Perform intake for vehicles, including documentation, and managing logistics
- Perform inspection of used cars, including both mechanical and cosmetic checks
- Perform any administrative tasks during the refurb process, including but not limited to,

Service Visit management, estimate creation and purchase order management
- Own the parts ordering process for used car refurb, collaborating closely with the parts team
- Manage third party relationships, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Performing cleaning, detailing and staging of cars and securing MOTs when needed
- Perform other activities as needed by management to help ensure smooth operations of used car refurb

What You'll Bring
- Experience and understanding of types of mechanical and cosmetic damage in a vehicle
- Proven ability to work well independently and with others under tight deadlines, with strong organizational ability, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel to multiple work locations within region
- Ability to work across multiple computer systems, experience with MS Office suite is required
- Strong knowledge of Tesla’s vehicle line-up, including manufacturing, service repair types, car potential failures and body repair / paint job knowledge is a plus
- Previous background as technician is a plus
- Valid driver's license for 2+ years
- Right to work in the UK
