We are seeking a UCR Preparation and BYD Technician to join our innovative team in Stockport. This role will involve preparing and servicing used cars, ensuring they meet our customer satisfaction standards while maintaining quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare used cars for sale, ensuring they are in excellent condition through thorough checks and servicing
- Conduct maintenance and repairs, adhering to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and perform necessary repairs
- Replace parts and lubricants, maintaining records of usage and services
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the vehicle’s condition and service needs

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in vehicle preparation or automotive maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- A desire to learn and progress in electric vehicle technology, particularly with BYD

Salary & Benefits
- Welcome Bonus: £2,000
- Salary: £31,500 (OTE) up to £45,000
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week
