Role Description
The Used Car Retail Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Maidenhead, responsible for leading the used car sales operation within the dealership. This role oversees the retail used car stock profile, pricing, and presentation to ensure vehicles are accurately marketed and ready for sale. Daily responsibilities include:

The Used Car Retail Manager coordinates with other departments to manage part-exchanges, finance and insurance products, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves:
- Reporting on sales performance
- Forecasting
- Implementing initiatives to drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and repeat business
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in used car sales management or a similar automotive retail leadership role, with a strong track record of achieving sales and profit targets.
- Skills in team leadership, performance management, and coaching to support a motivated, high-performing sales team.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Commercial awareness and analytical skills, including experience with pricing, stock management, and sales forecasting.
- Familiarity with finance and insurance products, regulatory compliance, and dealership processes.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems, CRM tools, and basic office software.
- Ability to work on-site in Maidenhead, with flexibility to support peak trading times, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous experience within a franchised dealership environment and a valid UK driving licence are highly advantageous.
