Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + OTE £55,000

Pybus Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and well-established independent franchised car dealership based in Burton upon Trent. We are seeking an ambitious, customer-focused Used Car Sales Executive to join a high-performing sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven automotive sales professional to build a rewarding career with a dealership that offers an excellent range of quality used vehicles, strong lead generation, and genuine earning potential.
The Role
As a Used Car Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Selling used vehicles while delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle handover
- Demonstrating vehicle features and arranging test drives
- Building rapport with customers to understand and meet their needs
- Promoting finance, insurance, warranties, and value-added products
- Maintaining accurate customer records within the dealership CRM system
- Achieving and exceeding vehicle sales targets and KPI objectives
- Following up on leads and generating repeat and referral business

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in automotive sales, preferably within a franchised or independent dealership environment
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Good IT and administrative skills
- A full UK driving licence
Desirable
- Experience selling finance and insurance products
- Knowledge of used vehicle stock management processes
- FCA awareness and compliance knowledge
