Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Used Car Sales Executive role based in Farnborough.
The role involves engaging with customers in the showroom and over the phone, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the process of selecting and purchasing used vehicles.

Responsibilities

- Presenting vehicles
- Arranging test drives
- Explaining finance and insurance options
- Preparing accurate quotations
- Managing the sales process from initial enquiry to handover
The Used Car Sales Executive will also:
- Follow up leads
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Use dealership systems to record activity and manage stock visibility
- Collaborate with colleagues across sales, administration, and aftersales to ensure a smooth customer journey
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer service skills, including ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and close sales in a professional manner.
- Experience in automotive retail or similar fast-paced retail environment, with knowledge of used car stock, features, and benefits.
- Competence in using dealership or CRM systems, handling documentation accurately, and maintaining organized records.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain products, pricing, and finance options in an accessible way.
- Ability to work on-site in Farnborough, including flexibility to work weekends and peak trading hours as required.
- Goal-oriented mindset with reliable time management, resilience, and a positive approach to meeting targets and KPIs.
- Full valid UK driving license and safe driving record.
- Previous experience in finance or insurance product explanation, and familiarity with FCA guidelines, is advantageous.
- Basic numeracy and IT skills, and willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
