Join Our Used Car Sales Team at Renault Romford
Renault Retail Group is looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Executive to join our team at Renault Romford, located on the Southend Arterial Road in Harold Wood (RM3).
Working within our busy Used Car Sales department, you'll help customers find the right vehicle from our extensive selection of approved used and nearly new vehicles. Stock regularly includes low-mileage Renault and Dacia models, alongside vehicles from a wide range of other manufacturers.
With strong stock availability and a consistent flow of customer enquiries, you'll benefit from regular opportunities to progress customers efficiently from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.
You'll be joining an established sales team within one of our busiest dealerships, where professionalism, customer care, and commercial success remain at the centre of everything we do.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and help them identify the most suitable vehicle for their needs and budget
- Present and demonstrate approved used and nearly new vehicles from a variety of manufacturers
- Arrange and conduct customer test drives
- Guide customers through the complete vehicle purchase process
- Introduce finance, insurance, warranty, and protection products in a clear, FCA-compliant manner
- Use dealership systems to manage enquiries, quotations, vehicle orders, and customer communications
- Maintain accurate customer records and follow-up activity
- Manage digital and telephone enquiries, ensuring customers receive timely responses
- Support customers throughout the sales journey from first enquiry through to vehicle handover
- Deliver professional handovers and explain vehicle features, warranty arrangements, and ownership benefits

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates with recent motor retail sales experience, ideally within a franchised dealership or reputable automotive retailer.
You should be a clear communicator with a professional and customer-focused approach, comfortable presenting vehicles, discussing finance options, and building lasting customer relationships.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple enquiries effectively are essential.
Experience using CDK Drive, Keyloop Showroom, CitNOW, or similar automotive retail systems would be beneficial, although transferable experience will also be considered.
Driving Licence Requirement: A full UK driving licence is essential for conducting customer test drives and for eligibility for the company car scheme.
Hours & Pay
This role operates on a 2-week rota alternating between 5 and 6 working days.
The typical working pattern comprises four weekdays plus Saturday, with alternate Sundays worked as part of the rota.

Working hours are 8:30am-6:00pm Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Saturday, and 10:00am-4:00pm Sunday. A 1-hour lunch break applies Monday to Saturday.
Basic salary is £26,000 pa, with OTE of £52,000 pa that is achievable, regularly reached, and uncapped. Our top performers earn significantly more. A company car is provided.
