Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Used Car Sales Manager role based in Edinburgh. The Used Car Sales Manager will lead and motivate the used car sales team to achieve volume, profit, and customer satisfaction targets. Daily responsibilities include:

The manager will handle key customer interactions, resolve escalated issues, and uphold Peoples Ford’s standards of professionalism and service.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales and overall Sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Expertise in Sales Processes, including lead management, negotiation, closing, and follow-up.
  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and high-quality Customer Service in a retail automotive environment.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales management or team leadership, preferably in used car operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse customers and team members.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, forecast performance, and make data-informed decisions about inventory and pricing.
  • Proficiency with dealership management systems, CRM tools, and basic office software.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading hours as required in a retail dealership setting.
  • Valid UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
